Dr Santhi Chalasani graduated with Honors from the Monash Medical Program in 2005. She undertook sub-specialty Endocrinology training at several major teaching hospitals in Sydney.
Her interests include diabetes, gestational endocrinology and thyroid disorders. She is currently involved in research with the The George Institute for Global Health trialing an electronic clinical decision support tool for general practitioners in the management of diabetes.
She completed a Masters in philosophy through Sydney University in diabetes research. She is actively involved in continuing professional development and remains informed of relevant scientific and clinical literature by attending conferences, participating in meetings and reading appropriate journals. Santhi is fluent in Telugu.
