Michael Malek is a university-trained Physiotherapist, having completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Western Sydney University (2021–2024). His education included extensive clinical placements across major Western Sydney hospitals and specialist settings, covering neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, ICU, paediatric, and elite sports environments, providing him with a broad and well-rounded clinical foundation​.

Michael currently practises as a Physiotherapist at Flex Allied Health, where he manages a diverse caseload including private patients, Medicare EPC, NDIS (paediatric and adult), WorkCover, and CTP claims. He delivers individualised, evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation programs aligned with patient-centred functional goals, and works closely with insurers, support coordinators, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. His experience also includes roles with elite and semi-elite sporting organisations, including Western Sydney Wanderers FC and West Tigers Pathways (U18s), supporting injury management and safe return-to-play rehabilitation​.

In addition to his clinical physiotherapy work, Michael brings strong sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation skills, hands-on experience in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and hydrotherapy, and a solid understanding of healthcare administration from his earlier assistant and reception roles. He holds First Aid and CPR certification, a Working With Children Check, and Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation, making him well equipped to work safely and effectively with both adult and paediatric populations in clinical and sporting settings.
